K's RIDE FOR THE CURE 2012 will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Derry Salem Elks Lodge #2226 at 39 Shadow Lake Road, Salem, NH 03079. The event starts at 8:00 AM for Motorcycle registration and breakfast. Open to the community at 12:00 PM.
The event is about promoting awareness and raising money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Neurofibromatosis is a disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to grow on the nerves, anywhere in or on the body at any time. NF is a progressive, complex, disorder which can also be associated with learning disabilities, hearing loss, brain tumors, seizures, and cancer. At this time there is no known cure and no effective treatment for NF. www.ctf.org.
The Delaney family is pleased to announce that K's RIDE FOR THE CURE 2012 will celebrate its second year by providing a wonderful day of fun with games, food, and entertainment for adults and kids of all ages. The purpose of this event is to promote awareness of neurofibromatosis by reaching out to our community and others. All proceeds from K's RIDE FOR THE CURE will be donated to our sponsor, The Children’s Tumor Foundation “Ending Neurofibromatosis through Research”.
Tickets for motorcycle run are $25.00 per rider and $15.00 per passenger.
Tickets for our family, friends, and community are $ 10.00 per person.
Children twelve and under are free.

Sr. Babe Ruth tryouts will be held on May 13 and May 20 at Salem High School.  Tryouts will be held at 5:00 pm each day and held in conjunction with the Legion and Jr. Legion tryouts. If you are interested please plan on attending on those days. Thanks

The Exchange Section of the web site is now open.   This service can be used to post information about used baseball equipment that is in working condition and you would like to sell.  This area will also be used as an on-line lost and found where the posting can take place.

To access the exchange, click on the "Exchange" tab on the left on the home page of SYB.  You can also see current itemd in the Exchange listed on the right side of the SYB home page.

Please note that the Exchange is a service for the membership of SYB and should only be used for listing your own used equipment.  It  is not to be used for non-baseball advertising by the SYB membership or by any outside companies with out the permission of the SYB Board of Directors.

Inappropriate listings and messages will be immediately removed.
